Excellent Big Foot Burger and Thick cut home fries for 7.95 very friendly, we will be back! Hubby said that's a pretty good burger, num, num num!
I’m no expert on barbecue, but i think it’s fair to say that this was some of the best smoked brisket I’ve ever had. Not only was it extremely tender, it was more than just good tasting meat, you could definitely taste the smokiness. I also highly recommend getting the clam chowder on the side; again, probably some of the best I’ve had, and loaded with clam meat. Lastly the service was fantastic; the owners couldn’t be more friendly.
Visiting Bend. Drove south to Crater Lake on Monday and on our way back home stopped here around 1:30 for lunch. 1) French dip had melted Swiss and a nice char to the onions. Bread was lightly buttered and grilled. Combination of all with the meat was excellent when dipped in the au jus. The Cole slaw is mayonnaise based and was 2 days old. Allows the flavor to really set in. Would definitely get this combo again. 2) Big Foot burger was cooked medium with cheddar cheese. There are cheese options. Condiments were brought to the table and had been in the refrigerator, so nice and cold. Love it when restaurants do this! Burger had great flavor. Side of freshly made potato salad was also excellent. Couple that run this place are very nice and work hard. Also, very clean bathrooms.
I can't believe I've driven by it so many times!!! The food was great, the portions we're huge.
Sometimes it’s fun to stop in a small town and try the local pub and grub which is what we did here at the Big Foot Tavern! We stopped in for lunch on a Thursday and received a friendly greeting and service. There was one young lady who did it all including cooking the food. My grilled chicken sandwich was delicious, the breast was well seasoned and tender, the bun and veges were fresh. I chose a side salad and it fresh as well. Hubby was happy with his French dip with a side of tots (just ok). The atmosphere was eclectic and fun, we enjoyed reading all of the signage. Many locals came in for lunch and the gal continued her upbeat and prompt service. I recommend this place for good grub and a nice selection of brews.
Being from out-of-state I simply had to stop here as I was driving through! We only had beer but the selection was great, they were featuring brews from 10 Barrel. I almost fell off the barstool when I was told they were 4 each! Loved the vintage atmosphere in a truly Western town, this was a one-of-a-kind place.
Great small town tavern. Awesome workers. Video lottery, cheap drinks. The food is amazing!! Try their daily specials or go on taco Tuesday and get the fried flautas..
This place is definitely the place to stop!!! GREAT FOOD! Shery, was amazing not only with our drinks but also on the food! This place will be a definite stop whenever I can!
